The avatera Group currently employs more than 100 members of staff. All development activities are based in Germany. The company's head office is in Jena, a hub of science and medical technology. This is also where the state-of-the-art avatera training center with its training operating room is located. A modern, multi-level training program includes practical exercises on the Virtual Reality Simulator as well as personalized proctoring in local clinics.

"At the avatera Training Center, we’ll give you intensive and practical advice on how to work with our system."

Ilmenau, also a high-tech location, is home to avateramedical Mechatronics GmbH, which since 2015 has been a 100 percent subsidiary of avateramedical GmbH, a branch of avateramedical N.V., based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

avateramedical GmbH boasts a comprehensive quality management system that is certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485:2016. The use of German servers and the application of German and European data protection standards ensure maximum security when it comes to protecting sensitive data, including clinic and patient data.

The successful completion of the CE conformity assessment procedure is set to be the next milestone. The CE marking will provide documentary proof that the avatera system complies fully with all applicable statutory requirements. Which is why the CE marking also stands for the comprehensive safety and performance of a medical product.
